Aaaah Burt’s Bees. This is a brand I have often wanted to try but could never justify buying myself more skincare! When the kind folk over at Chemist Direct sent me this to try out, I wanted to kiss them! The set is called the Essential Burts Bee’s Kit and I think they have this spot on, as it contains everything you would need to keep your skin looking its best.
What’s in the box:
- Burt’s Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion 1 fl. oz.
- Burt’s Bees Hand Salve .30 oz.
- Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm 4.35g
- Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream 20g
First up, has to be the Cleansing Cream. OH MY GODNESS! Hold on to your seats when using this one. The first time I used it, it felt as though it was going to blow my head off (in a good way of course!) it is so zingy and refreshing and left my skin tingly and fresh. Not ideal to use whilst having a relaxing bath like I did, I nearly jumped out of my bath water! If you only try one product from the range, let it be this.Foot Cream is next on my list for great results. With a beautiful coconut scent (which I adore) and a thick ’8 hour cream’ type texture, this left my tootsies feeling pampered and smooth. The Hand Salve and Lip Balm have become handbag staples for me. The Lip Balm is Peppermint scented so peps up dry lips with a single swipe. It does need to be applied regularly though to feel the effects. The Hand Salve is a godsend for patches of dry skin on knuckles and elbows. This was my first port of call after a burn from some hair-straighteners.
Lastly is the Body Lotion. This smells divine and sinks in to the skin quickly which is brilliant after a nice soak. It left my skin feeling smooth, hydrated and smelling good enough to eat (I did of course resist the urge to graze on a limb).
It’s currently on offer at Chemist Direct with 22% off, and is priced at just £10.18. Check it out here and don’t forget to go through your favourite Cashback website first.
