My Shabby Chic Homeware Sales Bargains

Many of you lovelies will know I am slowly overhauling my house, so it’s not unusual to find me rummaging in charity shops or scouring freecycle in the hope of finding gems. Today, by total happy-accident I found some fabulous piece that I am more than a little excited about sharing with you! Shabby Chic Homeware SalePicture the scene: It was tipping it down, the wind was at blizzard heights and I needed to take shelter. I launched myself into the nearest shop and bob is your freaking uncle, I found this treasure trove.

Shabby Chic glass bottlesI’m always on the look out for better ways to store my toiletries so when I answered the call from these ‘Lotions’ and ‘Potions’ boxes, I couldn’t be happier. The smaller ‘Potions’ box was £3.99 and the larger ‘Lotions’ box was £5.99.Shabby Chic wooden boxesThen, as the sales gods looked down on me, I saw a Buy One Get One Free sign above these beauties:

Shabby Chic Glass wareEach piece of ‘shabby chic’ or ‘reto’ glassware was just £2 each and on BOGOF which made my total for everything you see in this post, under £14. I practically skipped home (gently with the glass in hand).  I plan on using the perfume style bottles for display on my dressing table that I made over (see DIY post here) and either displaying or using the large glass bottles in the summer for my homemade concoctions. My shabby Chic Dressing Table DIY MakeoverI found all of these delights in a franchise of Store Twenty One (utterly disappointing website here).   1. I love those bottles, especially the one with the blue writing. We have a QS in a town about 10 miles away and I’ve found some lovely things when I’ve been passing – their shoes last ages too!
