Slow cooking for busy bitches- Cake!

Yes my darling, you CAN make cakes in the slow cooker. Now that we have that out of the way, I wanted to share one of my favourite cheats, easy slow cooked cakes!

When the bananas are looking too brown for even me to chow on, instead of throwing them out (wasting food and money) I simply do this ‘recipe’.

SLOW COOKER CAKE

To make this super cheap, Slow cooker Banana and White Chocolate Chip cake, as a busy bitch, here’s what you need to do:

SLOW COOKER BANANA CAKEAdd the cake mix to a large mixing bowl

Throw in the egg, water and as many bananas as you have handy. I used 3.

Grease your slow cooker bowl so you can get the cake out easily once its ready. I use Fry Light but you can use butter/marg.

Cook on LOW for 3-4 hours.

About an hour before cooking time ends, throw in the chocolate chips. I do this now as I like them to keep their shape and taste and not totally disappear.

Ta-da!  You will now have the most delicious and moist cake you have ever eaten.

SLOW COOKER CAKE That’s it. Yes, this is a total cheats way of making a cake in the slow cooker but this series is dedicated to these short cuts!

Previously on ‘Slow cooking for busy bitches‘ I spoke to you about slow cooking jacket spuds. See that right here.

Do you enjoy slow cooked cake? What’s your favourite? I’d love to find more easy recipes.
