Grabbing Winter Sun Deals – Sunrise Montemare Egypt

I cant relax. I’m known for always being on the go and quite the irritating fidget. This week, it’s all change.

When a too good- to-miss deal swung my may, I tripped over myself to get it booked as an end of year treat and pre-Christmas energiser.

As I type this from my hotel room, wrapped in a fluffy robe sporting oversized slippers, let me show you why the All inclusive 5* Sunrise Grand Select Montemare Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, has already been worth every penny.

Sunrise Grand Select ReceptionThe entrance is breathtaking (see pic above which typically doesn’t do it justice). It’s like walking into a 5* in Vagas crossed with some TOWIE glamour. The staff literally cant do enough to make your stay ultra comfortable and memorable. The bar man, Mohammed is epic. Turns out, he’s totally on board with British banter.

With it being all-inclusive, I am aiming to spend very little cash whilst I’m here. With that in mind, I took advantage of the ‘free’ snorkelling  off the back of the hotel jetty. OH MOTHER OF FISH – It was without question one of the best experiences of my life. The Red Sea is pulling top rank on the best places to snorkel and dive and I can see why. The fish were countless, colourful and captivating.

Sunrise Grand Select Jetty Snorkel hire was £5 from the on site shop and the staff were on hand with great advice and extra help for non swimmers like me. This is a true gem and highlight of this hotels location.

Savvy Annie Snorkelling Taking time out from de-icing my car of a morning for some winter sun was one of my better life choices. At the moment, you can snap up a stay at this hotel from £322 with Thomas Cook. Play with some dates here.

  1. Hi savvy annie, I hope you can help me. Do you think it’s best to take egyption pounds to sharm even with a privileged rate or take sterling and exchange whilst there?

Hope you can help and hope you had a nice holiday :) x
